2 Mill Street in Perth’s CBD is a 12-storey, A-grade commercial building. Infrared Services were engaged by the property manager to replace the aging ground floor house services switchboard which was at end-of-life. It was necessary to design, supply, and install a new custom fabricated switchboard. All existing circuits were required to be upgraded to RCD protection, and all existing lighting control transferred over to the new switchboard with minimal disruption.
As the building was tenanted at the time, it was a requirement for all work to be undertaken outside of business hours and the replacement completed in a single weekend. Of course this project was completed on time, and on budget, with no business hours disruption to building services. The total project value was approximately $20k.
