Scope of project:

This property is a multi-storey, mixed-use commercial and residential strata complex located in Perth’s CBD. In a bid to increase the safety of the building’s tenants, as well as greatly improve current lighting quality and energy efficiency, the client required an electrical contractor to specify and install LED lighting for the multi-storey car park as well as the fire escape stairwells.

Infrared Services presented a number of potential options to the client which would meet all of these aims and significantly upgrade the lighting in the nominated areas. These options included the installation of highly efficient LED light fittings with integrated occupancy sensors to dramatically reduce energy consumption. In the case of the car park and fire escape stairwells at Statton on Murray, the actual reduction was huge, coming in at around 90% compared to standard fluorescent lights.

Infrared Services completed this assignment well within the agreed timeframe, leaving the client with vastly upgraded lighting in the carpark and fire escape stairwells, and much lower energy costs as well. The value of this project came in at approximately $35k.
